Great (or in this case bad) art can stir up controversy and getting people talking, then banksy is the man. He didn't even create this piece. He just posted it on Facebook and the shit hit the fan.

Here you go:

The top of the artwork consists of a yellow background with a black border with three lines of red text scrawled on it. The text reads:

Feminism is a weapon.
Weapons are for war.
Make love not war!

The remainder of the artwork is composed of the Facebook comments of a number of people who have apparently lost what little minds they originally had in on orgy of either outrage or triumph, depending on the poster.

Edit: Lucid Flight has obligingly posted part of the artwork.

I like Banksy's stuff as a rule. I don't understand what his connection with this is (if any).

Line 1 - no it isn't.
Line 2- not necessarily.
Line 3- Sounds like a nice idea. But seems unconnected to the above statements.

orpheus, pity as it is the reaction to the picture, rather than the picture itself that is the important issue. As it has well over a thousand comments it would be too much hassle to post them here.
