I'm either always serious or never serious. Can't remember which.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Good for her, she did brilliantly and I like to imagine Russia getting in a flap about it. Our one was good too, I think she probably deserved to do a bit better.

Mazille wrote:Ooooooo- Kaaaaay. Apparently a sausage is starting for Austria. A woman. With a beard. Then I remembered exactly why nobody I know cares about the ESC any more. You know, more power to them, but the appeal eludes me.

It did for me too for a long time. I just couldn't figure out what people saw in this cheese-fest. Then two years ago I watched it whilst getting pretty ridiculously fucking drunk. It all made sense after that...
We are alive, so the universe must be said to be alive. We are its consciousness as well as our own. We rise out of the cosmos and see its mesh of patterns, and it strikes us as beautiful. And that feeling is the most important thing in all the universe.

Having sobered up, I still find myself whistling the Swiss one. Annoyingly catchy.

No. I need the money to leave the country.

Besides, I guess they would only pick the numbers I wouldn't want them to pick. Since I have no reason to want to avoid specific numbers, I don't think it would work.

So, Mazille, it seems like you think this was the Wurst outcome imaginable.

Mazille wrote:I wonder, does the sausage-y surname signify something going on under the hood, as it were?

That is precisely why he chose the name, combined with "Conchita" which is slang in Spanish for a vagina. So basically the name he chose was: Vagina Penis. Apparently the German also serves the purpose of alluding to the phrase "Das ist mir doch alles Wurst" ("it's all the same to me"), which is sort of cool.
