This is one of my favourite covers of a Bob Dylan song, mostly because the original was so shit I didn't even realise it was Bob Dylan originally.

I enjoy a lot of Cuban and Brazilian covers of jazz and soul/funk classics. I've also heard a lot of covers that I liked more than the original. An example of both would be Joe Pass's take on Coltrane's Giant Steps (though not technically a 'song').
