America's greatest writer is celebrated today on Google.

Famous, of course, for Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. He was also a great skeptic and it showed in much of his writing.
Much of what he said still holds true today.

There is grandeur in this view of life
Where one becomes many through struggle and strife,
But the Mother of Mysteries is another man's call:
Why is there something 'stead of nothing at all?

Famous, of course, for Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.

I believe his favourite work was actually his book on Joan of Arc, on which he spent a decade researching.

Just goes to show...something.
