The book, the brainchild of Lisa Murphy and called Tactile Minds, is designed to be 'enjoyed' by the blind and visually impaired - and is on sale for £150.

Among the 17 raised images include a naked woman in a 'disco pose', a woman with 'perfect breasts' and a 'male love robot'.

My first thought was "is it a pop-up book?" But then I realised that would work better for a mag featuring men - not for men!

Maybe not - ladies have parts that stick out! We have nothing that pops up though, so it would certainly be a bit more realistic if it featured men.

I presume it will be mainly single blind people that use them. It would be a bastard if you forgot where you left it and the wife felt it accidentally when she was dusting.

Friend of mine and his mate made a plan one night to help the blind enjoy songs in nightclubs: Braille lyrics scrolling around the wall. They got into the mechanics of this in some depth before realising that the blind could simply "hear" the lyrics...

What always gets me is that they sometimes have those people signing for the deaf......on the music channels. Couldn't have deaf people missing out on all of that lyrical genius that is in the charts nowadays, eh? Although I do enjoy the way they force the signers to dance while they're doing it.
