This game is awesome. Can't be too far from the end now. Will finish it tomorrow I'm sure. I want to play co-op tomorrow though.
Hope PS network is back up

 Ah yeah that was great. Brilliant.

Could've been a bit more challenging but maybe the DLC will be.
I wonder how this'll work out for us on console. Will we get it for free? Will we get custom made maps from the Steam community?

I don't think it will be free, M$ and Sony have to cover the overhead whereas Valve have already got their profit from when you bought the game. Do M$ and Sony charge Valve to sell their DLC through XBL and PSN?

I'd guess you'd get maps only if they were released in a map pack from Valve. I reckon a high percentage of maps will have 'TEST' written on the walls.

I assume they do charge Valve. Like I mentioned earlier; Valve sell optional customisation like dumb little hats so they can keep the dlc free. Well they're selling those dumb little hats on PSN.
We shall see I guess.

Or, as a third option, the Turret song! It made me happy.

The one at the end? I preferred that to the songs.

The hidden one is good too, I think it's a sped up version of the final one.

Yeah, I went back and found it after I saw the video of it. Also pretty awesome.

The hidden one reminds me of the music in Ocarina of Time.

I only found out about the secret one a few minutes ago when I was looking for the final one to post here

I did suspect something in there and wasted a couple of lives trying to portal in. I thought it was a secret Rattman room. It didn't occur to me to destroy the turret.

While free DLC on the Steam-powered PC and Mac platforms is nothing unusual coming from Valve, DLC #1 will notably be "free of charge" on Xbox 360 and PS3 as well.

So just one question remains: will we get our hands on custom maps, also?

Looking forward to the DLC. I'm pretty sure I'm almost finished (propulsion gel has been introduced 4 or 5 chambers ago) and so far there has been no real challenge. Advanced test chambers and challenges as in Portal 1 would be great.

Is there anyone who hasn't played the coop campaign yet? I got the game a little late and so far I have found no one to play it with. Anybody in search for a partner pm me.

I haven't played the co-op yet.

Because I can't. Damn PSN. It should be up during the week.

I finished playing single player yesterday. I had to ask myself "How the hell does Valve do it?" Coming up with games with more innovation, imagination and heart than any other games developer?

I was worried that the new features would seem tacked on or detract from the mechanics of the portal gun when all I really wanted was more Portal content (It was sorely needed and the user-made map community didn't really take off). What I got was not only an amazing new storyline with compelling and hilarious characters but a whole new set of puzzle mechanics (The Gels, the hard light bridges and the thermal discouragement beams), none of which felt like they were slopping on extra content for the sake of it, all of which felt like they belonged to the game.

HL2 is still their best game (HL1 being the best PC game ever IMHO) but Portal 2 is a close second for me. Roll on HL3!
