State Capitals

#1  Postby Briton » Feb 10, 2016 5:42 pm

I've always been hopeless on state capitals so I've used this learning tool to rectify that:

http://lizardpoint.com/geography/usa-caps-quiz.php

Obviously I can get them all now (although I keep mixing up Georgia and Maine ;) ). I thought it would be a bit of fun to see how people got on with it first time. I think I would have been lucky to get half of them right (including guesses). Don't forget to click 'strict'.

Edit: Sorry I've posted this in the wrong forum. Meant to put it in Social & Fun.

Only foreigners bother to memorize that crap. I'm a natural citizen and have no need for such trivia.

I think the capital of Texas is Hooters, but I could be wrong.

You can't help it, being foreign and all. Not sure I agree with you regarding the miserable twat bit, but I forgive you because you grew up in a less civilized part of the world where you don't understand the freedoms we enjoy here in the US.

The capital of Utah is the LDS Temple.

I don't get your obsession with nationality. Still, takes all sorts.

I missed Harrisburg. Not that I even said "Oh yeah"! when I looked it up, I completely forgot about it's existence. :nono: I used to know them all in elementary school.
I'll make it another destination for my summer galavanting. :)

What always dicks with me is remembering the difference between capitol and capital. Goddamned words.
