...is background score.
When in perplexity, read on.

Yea, I just got that's what you meant while I was sitting here. You know, I've thought that many times before.

What a cool idea. If you were going to play a song for your background music, what would you pick?

Depends on the mood. Right now it would be a slow sleepy kinda track... It's almost 1 am here!

I think I'd for for Mozart right about now... I think it's called Symphony 25. But, it would help me stay up too. It's early here, but I'm at work

That would get so chaotic! Imagine, everyone's opposing scores, crashing in to each other, violating our eardrums.
A bit like having the ability to read minds...sounds great in theory, but if you realize you hear EVERYONE'S minds, all around you, at all times....

Family Guy have already done this.

They've also done the narrating your life one:

But my favourite is Stewie following fat people around with a tuba.

I have a three year old... my life has a background score, sound effects, etc... sigh.

I would love to have a background score to life. It would help cue you in to what people are feeling. Which would help me as I tend to be dense.
I am a work in progress.

Stephane Grappellis Nuages (instrumental version) turned down really low, always worked with my babies - just enough interest to stop them crying but very relaxing, i fell asleep myself to it so many times alongside them that it still gives me that feeling of melting into bed exhausted, I have to resist the urge to hum it when I'm falling asleep.

Failing that book me a flight and I'll come sing you Dream A Little Dream Of Me :)
