No, it is another example of fans having told a publisher for years what they are looking for in a new product, only for the publisher to produce something else, often aimed at micro-transactions and other monetization schemes.

Again, it's not about expectations, it's about completely failing to understand your fan-base.
I did not expect them to present anything, much less a new diablo game.

Played a little bit today, seems to me they treated the Insomniac source material well and all the character they added doesn't seem out of place. I love all the different dragon designs. The controls feel pretty close, just updated, though I'm finding the camera a little clunky at times.

Being able to switch between the old and new soundtrack is nice, though the new one sticks pretty close just with more modern production. Still the best thing Stewart Copeland ever did.

This looks neat:

The most famous Manga heroes are thrown into a whole new battleground: our world. Uniting to fight the most dangerous threat, the Jump Force will bear the fate of the entire humankind.

Create your own avatar and jump into an original Story Mode to fight alongside the most powerful Manga heroes from DRAGON BALL Z, ONE PIECE, NARUTO, BLEACH, HUNTER X HUNTER, YU-GI-OH!, YU YU HAKUSHO, SAINT SEIYA and many others.

Or head to the Online Lobby to challenge other players and discover lots of modes and activities.

Although this:
JUMP FORCE - Ultimate Edition includes:
• 3 days of early access to the game
• The game
• The Characters Pass: 9 additional characters + their respective costumes and moves for your Avatar + 4 days of early access to play with those characters before everyone else
• 16 exclusive T-shirts for your Avatar
A Jump Starter Pack of in-game items

Makes me fear the presence and impact of lootboxes/an ingame shop.

*Edit. Damn my video card does not have the required 3gb ram. :(

I'm getting a little prematurely excited for this one. Still only a team of 2 in the very early stages of alpha but nice concept and esthetic.

Early access is a week away. Kind of a mix of Subnautica and Factorio. This will be my next obsession I think.

I tried Weedcraft here in California, but I couldn't get a license and the market was too corporatized and competitive to get into. I'm sticking with Methcraft.

Mononoke wrote:looks different from the original

It's apparently set in Seattle rather than Los Angeles and will feature thinbloods as an important plotpoint.
It also has two of the writers of the original working on it, so that's a good sign.
