3-D, especially the post-production garbage, would be detrimental to a visually striking movie like 2049

So you didn't see it in 3D....hehe ...how would you ever know ??? :naughty: More speculation eh?

Not even in iMax I bet. :coffee:

A sharper, bigger picture and horns as loud as a Brazilian football match won't save it from its terrible, predictable plot or inject any emotion into it. My problem with the movie is not against the cinematography or the score.

i've heard mainly positive things about 2049 so poor old ani is swimming against the tide rather, so i can understand his frustrations....apparently, though, the deckard storyline is a bit superfluous and paying too much fan-service....

Three movies/programs that asked the existential questions about what it means to be human in the last couple of years which all did it way better than Blade Runner. Westworld, Ex Machina and Her. In fact one scene comes across like a rip off of a similar scene in Her but without the impact despite being far more flashy and graphic.

Commando is one of the best worst movies ever. The best part is trying to figure out which funny parts are intentional or not.

I thought the motorbike stunt in T2 was bad stunt doubling. Commando is full of it. I was reminded of this part in I'm Gonna Get You Sucka.

Commando

Is that the one where no one wears underwear and the bad guys die from infected chafing rashes?

Yeah that was hilarious. That chick was yeehaw, too. Plus it featured baby Alissa Milano iirc.

Looks like 2049 is floppy badly. Just like its predecessor. When this becomes a cult classic down the road; will I be on the wrong side of history?
