Let's see, when Muhammad wanted to marry the wife of his adopted son (which was against Arab customs), Allah sends down a revelation saying it's ok. When Muhammad started a war during the "sacred months" (during which no war was supposed to take place in Arabia, this for trade to be able to flourish in the region) and his followers get upset about it, Allah sends a revelation saying it's ok. That people can't see through this obvious fraud is a real tragedy.
