What's the Japanese for Tony Stark?
That is incredible. That guy is going to be super fucking rich, and deservedly so.

Impressive.

Only a few hundred dollars and several hours of work to throw away a piece of paper.

You laugh now, but the concept has potential applicability. Prototypes are always expensive and amount to being useless. But the theory they prove and the potential jump off points into further avenues is worthwhile.

The idea of using a motion sensor combined with a roomba style device makes it very interesting. Not only will it vacuum on it's own but if you throw rubbish in an arc it will play fetch with you. Put in a tipping mechanism and it can go toss it out in a ground level rubbish chute. (Rubbish chutes already exist in apartment complexes...) All inventions are frivolous at first. :P

Who needs this darned fire thingy, we can eat this shit raw just fine.

Pretty neat. But surgery trumps waste paper any day.
