Path of Exile

#1  Postby Darkchilde » Jul 23, 2013 11:52 am

My bf introduced me to an online clone of Diablo, called Path of Exile.

It is not an MMORPG; you can play alone or you can make a team with friends or join a team with other players. It is free of charge to play, and you can find more info on their website here: http://www.pathofexile.com/.

I have enjoyed this game quite a bit.

Well, I have never been in the purchase area where you can buy some extra content. I just play free. Whoever has the money can buy the extra options.

It's not even extra content, just cosmetic fluff and I believe the top supporters get to design an item or some such.

All playable content is (I think) 100% free, those support packs are just for rich people who wish to support the game developers.

I played it for a while but had issues with lag and desyncing, so I gave it up.

I didn't have any such problems, and been playing for the last couple of months.

I'm playing it now and really enjoying it, some really good ideas in it but I also liked Diablo 3

Still can't see it being a viable business model long term, it basically relies on human beings being fair and decent which of course when there are no laws arent.

One of two things will happen it , it will either fail commercially or just 'sell out' and become pay to win

I started playing a few days ago and I like it a lot, although I don't see many people around.
It really is a clone of Diablo. I used to play Diablo 2 classic in battle.net a lot more that what would be considered healthy but ultimately I quit, I hope I don't become as addicted with this one :ill:
I made a witch which I think is the PoE equivalent of Diablo's sorceress, planning to use it later on for mfing, do you guys think it's a reasonable idea to begin with?
The behavioral account sets the task for the physiologist. Mentalism on the other hand has done a great disservice by leading physiologists on false trails in search of the neural correlates of images, memories, consciousness, and so on. Skinner
