Seeking: Replacement Addiction

#1  Postby Zadocfish2 » Sep 13, 2012 1:59 am

Well! I have given up Magic: The Gathering. Costs too much money, going into more and more disturbing places. I'm out!

One problem... I have a very addictive personality. I want to have some leasure item I can spend money on from time to time, and videogames are equally expensive. Does anyone know something like that that doesn't require internet/isn't a card game?

Oh, yeah! It's been forever since I played that! Reminds me of my old science teacher... pity he dies halfway through my sophomor year... Honestly, had he lived, I would probably be taking undergraduate courses on biology at University of Idaho right now...

Either way, that's kinda like chess in technicality, being a buy-once, play forever kind of game. Any that you can expand steadily?

Seriously though...

Blokus is extremely addictive, but you'd need at least one other person to play with since their online game appears to be offline for a while, but you said you didn't want internet anyway so...

There's all sorts of versions, but Blokus DUO is the one that got me hooked, and by the time I got onto the 3D version I had a 25-hour-a-day habit. :smoke:

I currently have the following inexpensive addictions;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King%27s_Bounty

The first two are free, the last one is very cheap.
