Steam Game Spam

#1  Postby Wuffy » Mar 04, 2014 3:17 pm

So Apparently now my steam games list has Massively expanded... Because a MOUNTAIN of rfree to play games have been added to it.

Including games I can't use because it's apparently region Locked.

Good job steam...

Nothing new in my games list.

Kinda sorta related to this: Is there a way to remove games completely from your list? I've managed to uninstall some unwanted ones, but they still linger there, greyed out....
Well that was awkward.

Well, you still own them. Why would you want to delete them from your library, even if you don't want to play them?
You can filter that list anyway.

I made an "unwanted stuff" tab that I collapse, works well enough.

Collapseable tab sounds good, hadn't noticed such option exists.
Well that was awkward.

You just need to set category for the games you wish to hide and then create a new category. There's an option on the right-click menu that comes up if you right-click a game, or a "set category" option at the bottom right of the library screen when you have a game selected.

So yeah it fixed itself. But for a while there I had every free to play title in my game list, including some region locked from me. Because if I clicked install of store page said my region wasn't permitted access to this game. So yeah.. joy..

But fixed now.

Go to your "Library" page in Steam.

At the upper left, under, "Store Library Community UserName" is a search bar. Right next to that is a pull down menu (it probably says "All Games"). Click on that and you can change the list so that it only shows installed games.
