Not this sale. I had a backlog of some 15 games before this sale. It hasn't gotten better. While I played the free part of KSP back in the day and enjoyed it, I just won't get to play it until at least the Halloween or Christmas sales. CK2 and EU3 alone will keep me occupied for weeks.

Funnily enough, though, I sold a lot of duplicate cards I got, mainly from playing games and voting, plus a couple from the money I would have spent anyway. All in all I made 2,25€ back and that's only from the dupes. 11 cards and a profile background, to be precise. I still have shitloads I could either keep or sell at my convenience, all of them ranging from being worth around 10 cents to 1,5€ for a foil card I got. Right now they aren't worth as much as they used to. The Steam Market graphs tell me that some of the foil cards went for 10+ Euros, so I'll wait and see if prices climb again after the sale is over.
People are fucking idiots. I like that trading card thing. I basically got one of the cheaper games I bought for free.

I was one card away from the badge, never got it so I dumped them all on the market for 10p each and made around £2 (inc. a £1 foil). I was expecting people to forget about them after the sale and therefore price to drop. So thought 10p is better than 4p.

I too like these cards, not only gain a little off my next purchase but it's actually kinda fun pretending I could work on Wall Street (minus the hookers, cocaine and morally reprehensible choices).

Told you the card prices would be rising again. The Sale cards at least went from around 10 to around 17 cents.

Dammit! I'd be a terrible economist, but I'm an average gamer, so swings and roundabouts.

Buying the Devil May Cry collection has been a bit of a misbuy. What with only DMC: Devil May Cry being playable with keyboard + mouse.
DMC 3 is completely unplayable and 4 has no mouse support and requires multiple button mashing to execute one command/attack.

DMC: Devil May Cry was good fun though.
