Thailand Bans Thai MacBeth

The film was made and produced in Thailand, it was given stimulus money as part of a plan to increase the prominence of Thai films. But it's been banned for

[undermining] the unity of people in the country

:coffee:

And the Director went "Okay so what do we change."
The answer "Can't tell you."

How freaking useful.
:nono:

I have an idea it's the implications of monarchs behaving badly.

Hey if you think that is bad, South Africa used to have a government that banned probably the best known book about a horse in the world, simply because they didn't like the sound of the title.

Black Beauty!

Can you get more pathetic than that? I mean, at least in your case they may have a point, it is not in the interest of those in power to present the people with scenarios in which rulers are flawed.
