I'm liking Cyberpunk. I'm not loving it. Feels a bit 'on rails' after the first hour or so. Plus controls are a little sticky. It keep getting stuck in crouch mode.

Wish I had a Windoze 10 machine so I could grab PoE and Tyranny.

Claim them anyway... you never know. :dunno:

I have yet to install any of my... let's see... 61 Epic games (for myself anyway... I claim every game 3 times, twice for my nephews). Log in, claim, log out. All of 3 clicks, depending on your password settings. Your browser works exactly like the launcher for this. I missed months of giveaways, or my stash would be twice as big.

General note: the daily holiday giveaway starts on the 17th - I didn't make that clear earlier.

In case anyone here plays Warframe from time to time... free Unreal Tournament Weapon Bundle at Epic. I checked: you need only have claimed (not installed) the free base game to claim the bundle. I suppose for it to show up in your inventory you'd have to link the Epic account to the Warframe account. But I'm guessing they can be de-linked later. :dunno:

Very true! I should really sign up for Epic anyway.

Signup is an email confirmation - painless. Also, the website is pretty polished & loads quickly. The 'purchase' process is probably the cleanest I've seen of all of them.

Digital Foundry's stress tests on potato-gen consoles:

Summary: sucks on base consoles; slightly better framerate on PS4 Pro in asset-rich areas of the game (up to mid-20s! ), sharper resolution on Xbox One X generally.

If anyone cares, Battlefield 3 (standard edition) is free to claim if you have a Prime subscription (go to Prime Gaming). You'll get a code, which you can redeem at origin, or you can pass the code along to someone who wants it.

EA's purchased Codemasters for US$1.2bn. Been a fan of Codemasters stuff since before the DiRT rebrand, when it was Colin McRae Rally. Can't wait to see what EA does with it (he says sardonically).

Didn't see this posted - didn't watch it until a couple nights ago myself. No faith in Bioware as an entity, but... the teaser has the right vibe. (Coming from someone who's never experienced a single Andromeda trailer or cinematic... so I can't tell if it's naiveté on my part.)
