Oh I definitely found that plausible. I expected it even. 'I'm glad she was willing to let him go in the end and I hoped she hooked up with Dan in the end. He seemed like a nice guy and I have a thing for nice guys. I didn't always though and I had to go through a few Roberts before I figured that out.

The website http://www.lindsayanthony.com has now had more than 10,000 visits in a little over a year, with the frequency of visits generally increasing from one month to the next, especially this year, which is encouraging since apart from starting this thread I have done absolutely nothing to publicise it. Most are from the US, but plenty of other countries are represented, with a big contingent from China, interestingly. It seems that knowledge of the site has spread by personal recommendation, which is most gratifying in itself.

Did anybody here read Free Fall apart from Blip and NamelessFaceless?

Oh! I must get it. I recall I was on a back to education allowance when this thread started and couldn't afford it.

Dammit! I'm boycotting Amazon.

There's a mobile version, as well as the normal browser version; don't know what it's like, but it's for reading on your phone or tablet. Might be more comfortable.

I've got it on my kindle, but seeing that I killed it last year while in Scotland and somehow didn't get around to replace it yet, it somehow slipped through the cracks. I'm a bad person. :(
I actually enjoyed PGotS a lot, so I will get around to it some day. I'd be interested in how your writing has developed.

Free Fall is a much better novel, from the point of view of craft. Less sex, though.

I have it in the Kindle edition, on my phone. About half way through it.

Liking it so far, I enjoy the gentle characterisation, although I have to be in the right mood, and as I usually read it when travelling to meetings, I'm quite often not, hence the time it's taking me to get through it. That's not at all a criticism

Glad you're enjoying it: that is the general idea! How far have you got?

Wherever "half way through" is, there are some surprises coming.

The website has had 5,000 visits since November, overwhelmingly from the US. Seems that people are liking it, and passing the word around. Very pleasing.

If anyone's interested. :)
