Hello all,

I'm struggling with how to introduce myself, so I'll just go with a few relevant facts. I once lurked these forums (and even RDF) long ago, even posted a few times but have no idea how to log in to my old identity but I don't suppose it matters much. But very nice to see some familiar names still around here. Since I last read a post here I have gone to graduate school and did a postdoc, all in the area of neuroscience. Think more hardcore cellular/molecular work and electrophysiology and less psychology. I was raised Catholic and at one time was quite religious but went through a major transition about 15-20 years ago and have since considered myself a weak atheist. I suppose that's all to say... an atheist who is also interested in chatting about science and sci-fi? Demographically speaking, I think you can see how I landed on this site

Hello and welcome!
I'm not an atheist; I just don't believe in gods :- that which I don't belong to isn't a group!

Always room for something old in a newer place. Howdy! :coffee:
