I don't know what anyone's complaining about. This was a good story about the life of Sansa Stark and some other stuff that happened.
You know what, I think it would be really interesting to be able to watch from the whole series just the scenes that any particular character was in.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

He's a Jack Sparrow wannabe. There was no reason for him to fight Jamie. Would've made more sense if he just abandoned the lot.
Forget fighting, there was no reason for him to be anywhere near Jamie at that point.
I only just noticed, the Iron Fleet are literally burning on the horizon, Euron must have swam like a bastard dolphin to the specific spot Jamie just so happened to be sneaking to at that exact moment he was there. Just so they can have a stupidly long scrap and tell each other they've swived the queen.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!
enjoy, even though I hear the thing was hurried and done without the proper care, frack it, I'm thinking of the proper French verb, but can't find a decent English equivalent.

I don't know that verb, and I'm not sure that the ending was truly botched, I'd have to go through the series to make sure, which I have no intent to do.
I don't understand why so many people complain about season 8. I liked it, and I liked the ending. I think it's the best possible ending.
Maybe seeing one episode per week tends to raise expectations, and consequently, frustration.
I just re-watched 1981’s Dragonslayer starring a very young Peter MacNichol (of Ally McBeal fame. The dragon’s name was Vermithrax Pejorative. George R. R. Martin has stated that he named one of his dragons in honor of this movie’s dragon. But he borrowed a couple more names from this movie: the king’s number one henchman is named Tyrean and the heroine of the story is named Valerian
I’d rank the Season Finale of Game of Thrones right next to the season finale of How I Met Your Mother.
Inconsequential and disappointing.
Like I’ve gone and rewatched earlier seasons and like Arya’s character was fascinating. Seeing her growth and struggles made her enjoyable. In Season 8 her character is simply “stealthy assassin” but she only kills one significant person, she has the ability to teleport, and just overall has no satisfactory character growth in the season. Her character serves no purpose aside from killing the big bad.
This sums up everyone’s character arcs. They have no real growth. They just kind of exist. Give exposition. Do things to further the plot. It’s pretty inconsequential to watch.
