Anyone from Belgium here ?

Tomorrow is the day guys

I'll be arriving at Brussels at 06:30 if all goes well.

When I get there, I would like a SIM card for my iPhone that would give me Data Usage too. Any recommendations on what SIM I should get ? Would greatly appreciate it.

Airport???
Because in that case it would be best if you got a SIM before you even left the Airport.
You wouldn't have to SEARCH for somewhere to buy.

BASE has something too... but it's a little more unclear what is beneficial from them.

Sorry, I should have mentioned, I'll be travelling by Coach / Bus. Student cheap style

Proximus has better coverage, but is somewhat more expensive. I don't think the coverage will be that different if I take into account you'll be visiting the larger cities primarily.
I've studied in Brussels and never had any problems, though I mostly roamed the area described earlier in the thread.
Chocolate and fries? In brugge, there normally is a frietkot smack at the town square (not really a square though) but I find them not that good. Too fatty and not crispy enough, but my experience dates back at least three years, as I have stopped eating fries except home cooked ones.
If you happen to be in Brugge, try looking for Da Vinci ice cream shop. Quite good, I reckon.

I had many things ! I was in Brugge earlier in the day and bought some chocolates from Madam Dumon's shop.

Then after taking many photos in Brugge, I headed for Gent. There I went to a café in the town square. If I remember correctly it was called Daberman Café. They had Wifi, and when I asked for the password, it was 'Evolution' though the guy had spelt it as 'Evelotion' so I grabbed the chalk and corrected it.

I had two Beers, there were two nice ladies sat opposite me, so I asked them which beers on the menu were local, they pointed them out. One was brewed in Gent, and the other Brussels.

I and the ladies got talking, and I'm in fact meeting one of them for dinner again

All in all, I had an awesome time.

I'm in Belgium too, for a couple of weeks, before going back to France.

We have a very nice japanese restaurant close to our working place, The_Metatron and I, if you have a car, we could meet there and have a very nice diner

Sure would have liked that, unfortunately on the 5th I was heading back to the UK

. It was only a quick get away, 3 days. But memorable.

EDIT: That Café / Pub was called Dambert and is at the Korenmarkt, in the center of Ghent.

The 'Beautiful Building' in one of your photographs is the chapel of the holy blood in Bruges.

It houses a vial of the blood of Christ brought back from the crusades, supposedly.

Nice one! Better than the 5 to 12, which is next to it, IMO.

ETA: dambert means draughts board, btw, and you can tell by the interior design of the place.
