It was 'OK'. A Dalek made an appearance. Too much time was spent on unrelated 'personal chit-chat' between father & son. Fast forwarded through those bits.

I started watching the rest of this show recently after stopping at the end of season 2 a few years back. Now I have some quite firm opinions and will share one of these. Clara Oswald is the best of the companions with the exception of Donna.

Fry did the best he could with a dogs breakfast. Think he was thankful to be shot. Noticed the baddy aliens where entirely white, was that a woke thing or something ?? even there hats where white so maybe they'll be redeemed later as all bad guys are on Doctor Who these days...? No losers, no bad guys and despite the nightmares it all ends with a big panto exit...sugar and spice and all things nice....

Somehow, the new series doesn't seem to be as 'gripping' as the oldies. Maybe it's my age...

The stories don't seem to be as 'convincing' such that I used to sit 'glued to the telly' with earlier Docs.

got around to watch "Resolution" last week, not half as bad as I feared, but now I can put my finger on why Chibnall as Showrunner sucks: It's this "personal problems" layer which feels overly pronounced and "plot irrelevant" in Series 11.
