Actually my question was in regard to the politeness of Canadian atheists, not what they should or shouldn't be bothered by.

This is what I'm working from.

I think that would be a good topic for a new thread. (wink, wink)

By the by, I won't be able to come up on the 26th, but I hope to make the next ratskep Toronto meetup

I just have to get my enhanced driver's license first. :)

Good news and bad news!

Good news: I can come to the meet, because I didn't realise it was NOVEMBER 26th, I thought it was October. I should definitely have my enhanced license by then.

Bad news: I just went to buy the debate tickets and they're sold out :/ I don't suppose some enterprising ratskep member bought a whole lot of tickets and wants to sell me one?

Sityl I did everything short of blowing a guy down the back alley for tickets and still came up empty handed. Including being on the phone the instant they went on sale on the two different occasions. Perhaps I should of blown that guy down the alley. :?

Give me his name, I'll do it twice and we can both go.

Well, that sucks. But it'll be nice to meet ratskepers anyways, even if it probably is my last chance to see the Hitch irl before he dies.

Fuck it, I'm close enough to Toronto (7 hours in the car) that I might be able to go.

How soon would I have to RSVP, or do I need to at all?

For 7 hours in the car you can fucking show up with your underpants on your head for all I care, you'd fucking deserve it. :drunk:

I think if we have a date set, and enough people (for certain) showing interest... than you can RSVP whenever you like!
