I called that Sony would put out the PS4 before the new Xbox, they don't want to be late from the gate again and have Microsoft stomp them further into the ground. I wont be getting myself hyped up for this or the games until I see them actually out on the market could still be a long wait before that happens.

PS4 and Xbox 720, im expecting it to come this year also.
Not very interested in the Wii U, maybe a new Zelda/Mario game will change that

I think the reason why they haven't revealed the console itself or the price yet is because they are going to wait for Microsoft to announce the Xbox 720, even though I hate Sony half of the time I like they are playing hard to get with the PS4. So far it looks like they are not going to do that batshit rumour regarding the PS4 playing pre-owned games but I have a feeling they will introduce that in later PS4 models.

Actually Sony have admitted they dropped the ball with that one and have mentioned that that won't be the case with this one.

I'm seriously torn between a PS4 and Xbox 720(or whatever they call it). It'll become my media hub in my new house so the film/TV stuff will be interesting to compare. I love the PS4 ability to store games in the cloud for instant play. Most of my friends have 360s at the moment so it would be lonely getting a PS4 if they all get 720s.

You never know. They may switch over. Unless Xbox pulls something massive out of the bag. We don't even currently ready they are and they may've just had their hand forced.

Exactly. I loved the PS2 and hated having to pay to hear 13 year old kids call me a noob on the 360 so I'd love the PS4 to blow the new XBox out of the water.

Rumors that I've heard about the XBox 720 were: it has a built-in blue-ray player, built in kinect and will be DRM'ed to the teeth. So far it's a no-brainer.
