I really liked the Age of Conan soundtrack, especially for the Cimmeria areas. One of the few games where I kept the music volume audible.

Anyone played this game? I've never played it, but it certainly has one of the most epic music.
The music sounds similar to Danny Elfman Mars Attack theme, is it derived from there?

The first one's just legendary, and the second sounds like something Bill Whelan would write.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!
She revelled in adventure and imagination.

Xenon 2: Megablast's theme song was always a favourite of mine, a mix of Megablast: Hip-hop on Precinct 13 by the British hip-hop/house artist Bomb the Bass from the same year.
The CDTV version was closer to the original mix:
"Could that be him. Could I be right? Could that be kid dynamite!"

Here we go again. First, we discover recursion.

The best music in Door Kickers:
Here's a favorite from Invisible Inc:
It's very much Deus-Ex inspired.

I love the theme of the Cleric Beast in Bloodborne. Seeing it being recorded live here.
This one is great too.
The second movement for the second phase of the Father Gascoigne rocks. It really suits how frantic and violent that fight gets.

I love this theme from Destiny's The Devil's Lair mission. It steadily builds as the waves get more vicious becoming metal and operatic by the end.

Gotta add this, by the excellent Christopher Tin:
Live version:
Gives me the chills in a good way.

Christopher Tin is, in my eyes, one of few classics of our time. btw chills or no chills is the only criterion I use for judging music not because boors are left with nothing else but because nothing else matters. I get goose bumps tho.
