Wizard? You mean mage? I appear to be on every server apart from that one.

Lot's of servers are linked these days aren't they I prefer mage to wizard and apparently the panda's don't call themselves panda's despite being panda's

I understood several words in that OP. One of them was "a", and another was "look".

I dunno what you mean by wizard mrjonno, there aren't any wizards. Warlock perhaps?

OK, mage. My oldest character is a frost mage. Must be 8 or more years old. My daughter keeps ribbing me about how shit my gear is.

Three other words might be useful in rendering the others sensible. "World of Warcraft". Apparently it's one of those games you have to be immersed in pretty thoroughly, before conversation about the game makes any sense.

All I can say is I am grinding rep for the Diplomat title and I fucking hate the Mag'har part of it. Takes for ever to get the items you need to turn in and the reward is not enough. But dat title and dat second screen to play youtube videos on.

I too recently went back to WoW after a big break, but on the Oceanic servers. And never will the Oceanic and European servers meet for otherwise the world will be ripped in twain.

It makes me sad. Look - :(

I haven't actually played for a few weeks now, despite having been given access to the WLOD beta. I was finding it irritating in the extreme because the thing was riddled with bugs. That's understandable, but one of the bugs was on a gateway quest to opening up loads of quests in that area and it created a bottle neck that lasted for about 2 weeks. In that time I couldn't progress my character and I ended up losing interest completely. I was thinking of going back on today, but I had a shit load of work-related research to do and I never got round to it. Still, it's the weekend now...

I parked my 87 Goblin Shaman at one of my old BC guilds favourite drinking spots to show off my adon/ui settings.

I remember the good old days when you had to be lvl 40 to ride a mount. 39 levels spent running between locations or paying out for griffins/bats. Now it's lvl 20. The young people of today don't know they're born!

I remember the old days when there wasn't any lazy modern stuff like Dungeon Finders and instant teleports.
People had to cross whole oceans and continents to actually enter a dungeon together!

 Yes! And if you were crap and broke like me, your guildmates would all be at the dungeon entrance half an hour before you, watching your incredibly slow mount (didn't have the money to upgrade) crawling across the map towards them.

And this is serious: I remember the good old days where people actually had to mind their assigned roles in lower level dungeons. DPS didn't pull or run ahead. When mobs had to be stunned, sheeped etc. Basically when dungeons were actually dungeons and not linear zones with mobs with higher health.

Ah yes, when people worked together to achieve the end goal, and you'd wipe if someone decided to just do whatever they wanted. I regularly got myself into trouble for aggroing the mobs by blinking into the middle of them (not on purpose, I just had terrible awareness) - eventually I learned that I was cc and dps and if I wanted to do hand-to-hand combat I should just re-roll. I seriously wonder how my guild put up with me, they were such nice people.
