Cup of beans.
I am, somehow, less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein’s brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen J. Gould

Some of these people come from Stoke. Is that a line? I saw it in a clip. Is that appropriate in response to what you said? I don't know the rules yet![/quote]
I think it’s ‘came from’, but yes, that is acceptable.

She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

He's one that everybody seems to find hilarious but I find him mildly amusing on odd occasion and flat out boring the rest of the time. Same goes for Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm). I'm evidently rather unevolved, humor wise, as I find Benny Hill and the Three Stooges rolicking good fun.

I think this really is a case of it being very British, and perhaps not readily translatable.

I'm unsure if this is a good idea. It might just give Farage new ideas.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Hadn't seen or heard of this before
Alan leaves behind his comfortable existence and heads north to ask whether, in this once United Kingdom, a `schasm` has formed between north and south.
