[quote="UncertainSloth";p="2618451"]5....jesus....i'm going with gut instinct then....

the wicker man (no, not the nic cage one...) - conflict of religion and pagan as well as a personal love of the ancient traditions and the occult...
withnail and i - basically my student life and, if i'm honest, my 20s...also, what a piece of work is man is fucking genius (and also the themes about the great divide between aspirations and actual behaviour)
pan's labyrinth/cronos (delete as appropriate) - more likely the former, i'm a massive fan of magical realism and pan is the epitome of that for me, i've yet to see shape of water...
the thing (carpenter's version) - as mentioned, however mild-mannered on here, i'm actually very unpredictable at times - i'm also quite sociophobic (is that even a thing? i'm sure fall will tell me) so the concept of mimicry and the hidden true self get to me...
alien - could quite easily have chosen 2001 - it's the isolation and the feeling of how small and vulnerable we are

will that do?...;)

She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Sociophobic? You mean like social phobia? Yes, of course. You, earlier:

Its not so much my fav movies but rather movies that sum up aspects of my personality.

The Princess Bride is an accurate representation of the kind of humor I find funny.

The Princess Bride and Stardust are the kind of adventure/romances I seek.

A Dog's Purpose stresses the love I have for dogs and how I view dogs as a big part of the family.

The Truman Show because existentialism is a fundamental philosophy I live by.

And Kill Bill because strong, female leads are 100% desirable.

You list films that best describe your personality

The films do not have to be your favourites at all

From the lists so far we have some very intersting characters indeed

Duel

Lost Highway

Jacobs Ladder

2001 A Space Odyssey

So from this post we can say that this individual likes

being alone for very long periods of time

is generally more logical than emotional

although prone to some paranoia and anxiety

doesnt think life makes much sense in the grand scheme of things

but finds a strange kind of comfort in that so just accepts it without question

but you will have to ask him if you want to be absolutely certain of any of this

My movies basically sum up my political views, the importance I hold on freedom of expression, religious views, skepticism, early drug problems, and irreverence.

The Wizard of Oz.

I could be any of those characters therein, including the witches.
