I fucking loved that movie!
One of the best movies I had seen in months, and one of the best vampire movies I'd EVER seen.
I haven't seen the Twilight series (I refuse to see it actually), but I have faith that Daybreakers is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy more awesome :P

Now if only The Strain will be made into a movie....

Oh, I am definitely refusing to have anything to do with Twilight. None of the movies or books are allowed in my house.

I thought it was fucking fantastic. I've heard other people say they didn't care for it as much, but I thought it was great. I mean, even if you're downloading it, it's not as if you're paying for it, right? What's the harm in watching it?

:yuk: I will never watch Twilight ever. Vampires are supposed to be badass not some poncy retard who can't even make it out of high-school after a couple of hundred years and sparkles like so many purple Hannah Montana bracelets with love hearts, stars and cresent moons.

They have this obsession with targeting a younger audience, making all characters teenagers, and including too much sappy, boring romance (gag me...or rather them!). I always say (in Hungarian) that the movies are "dripping" from too much saliva/romance.

I remember Jerome Bixby's son thanking pirates for putting The Man From Earth on torrent sites, because it gave some (free) advertising to the movie, that it wouldn't have had otherwise, because of the low budget. He even said, he might upload his next movie himself.

I love Twilight. It's one of those phenomena in pop culture that provides such a heap of snark bait... It makes me giddy.
You have to admit; it's fun to make fun of.

Not fun enough to watch :nono:
Unlike B horror films, Twilight takes itself entirely too seriously.

Just watched Avatar and liked it very much. Didn't have the chance to watch it on a big screen though.

Which I think makes it funnier. I sit there laughing, thinking of how ridiculous it is that little girls sometimes cry over this.

Whereas the first movie had the Japanese, the sequel casts the British as the villains...
Oooh, was it good?
I loved the first one!
It's very similar, but in Hong Kong. It continues where the first one ended.

A Chinese Rocky? ;)
I read it will be a trilogy, and knowing Hong Kong efficiency in film making the third one was probably made at the same time as the sequel.
A Chinese Locky? :plot:
I once applied for a job as a mustard cutter.

But unfortunately I wasn’t quite good enough.

The Thunder of the Gigantic Serpent. Godfrey Ho/Pierre Kirby movie, and it's awesome. If you like REALLY, REALLY, REALLY bad movies, this one should hit the spot.
