কোনটাই ঠিক মনঃপুত হলো না. 'Non-existent deity', এ জিনিস বোধহয় বাংলায় নামানো যাবে না. আসলে আজকে আনন্দবাজার এ একটা খবর বেরিয়েছে, "পূন্যার্থীদের নিষ্ঠুরতায় ট্রেন থেকে পড়ে মৃত্যু কলকাতার স্কুল-ছাত্রের". ভাবছিলাম একটা পাল্টা চিঠি দেব, যে একটা 'Non-existent deity' -এর থেকে একটা স্কুল-ছাত্রের জীবন অনেক বেশি important.
সেটা বোধহয় আর হলো না...

Sad news indeed. Perhaps "অবাস্তব" or "কাল্পনিক" can be used to mean "nonexistent".
