Yeah, that's pretty much how every interaction is gonna go.

I like the game. I play on an easier difficulty, cause I don't really care to challenge myself, so I dunno how combat is at higher difficulties or how high tier gameplay is. I like the companions, though from what I've seen one of those companions has a lot more work put into them than the others. A lot of things are simplified, compared to Fallout: New Vegas, but the best one that comes to mind is repairing equipment.

The first dlc has a twist towards the end that annoys me, cause I don't recall anything that would have suggested it, but beyond that it was fine. Haven't played the second dlc yet.

Wish I had more time for Diablo 3… season 24 started a week ago(?) and my baby monk is only lvl 22-ish. However, I can see the power of ethereals is game-changing even while leveling. Only found 1 so far - Shadow Killer - and it allowed me to switch immediately to Torment difficulty, wrangle champion mob groups & mostly 1-shot them with a single dash (Dashing Strike - most kung fuey of all the kung fu skills imo).

Just.... look at it! I love this little swinging spider. It's out now, and pretty cheap.
Well that was awkward.

My head's not in the right place anymore so I can't remember If I mentioned this. My son bought a little HP PC laptop for me to play games while I sit through lockdown. I spend my mornings doing chores, and some shopping now we're vaccinated, and my afternoons and evenings playing computer games.
Years ago, late 1990s/early 200s, I played the MYST games. I bought those to start with, and still have a couple of others I need to do.,

I have a Steam account. My name is the same as here with -the-Elder attached if anyone cares to look for me. I mostly play House Fliipper, and am anxiously waiting for the luxury house upgrade in October. I have Castle Flipper but it only has a few quests, I doubt it will grow unless the people who do House Flipper take it on. Now it's mostly collecting rents, and cleaning houses, not much flipping happening.

There's Quern, I started this week and a few others I need to test to see if I want them to play. I don't like playing with other people - I don't in the real world, so it's not going to happen online. In this one you get to renovate the house in Breaking Bad and Home Alone. Good fun. Feeds my need to renovate houses.

Interesting Prime freebies. Control base game was free on Epic recently, but this includes expansions & is on a much better platform (GoG).

Disco Elysium - The Final Cut can be got @ Epic store (Win, Mac) for $8, after the 'discount' plus $10 coupon. If the coupon isn't automatically there, claim something (for example a freebie) and it'll show up. Freebies are daily until Dec 31, I think. Epic store's been buggy, so avoid time-consuming mistakes.

Also, Titan Quest is cheap again @ GoG (Win only).

Alternatively, $10 coupon -> Metro Exodus Gold Edition for $5 (Win, Mac). Epic hides the gold edition from search, it shows up on the bottom of the standard edition page.

I'm really enjoing Warframe. An online game with such an amazing story. A bit slow at the start, but when it catches up, it's just a pure joy.

Also like Dota 2 custom games as well as Warcraft 3.

I've tried getting into it a few times... a lot of time wasted (as in... dozens of minutes) trying to learn how crafting & progression work. I wonder if they've made it less opaque. Also, it looks like Destiny 2 is now F2P on PC?

Ever tried Guild Wars 2? 3rd expansion coming out soon. I have 2 max-level tokens + enough Tomes of Knowledge to boost a 3rd character to 80... but won't have time to play at all. :yuk:

Looks amazing, but I doubt I will buy it. Takes too long to play and I don't have the patience for dialogue-heavy games anymore... I like me some simulation. I'd only be interested for the D&D tactical battles.

I haven't got around to it since launch, but I played the first ten hours or so during early access and it's great.

Sea of Stars is free for Playstation Plus subscribers next week. Looking forward to it.

Shadow Gambit just dropped and Armored Core 6 is out next week. I'm still playing Baldur's Gate 3 and Revenant 2 though so they'll all have to wait.
