Bought the Yakuza Remastered Collection (Y3,Y4 & Y5)
Yakuza 3 is so sweet, I might lose all my teeth to rot before I finish the game.

This might be the cheapest it's been.

Just a follow-up... it's supposedly a great game and all, though it's not near the top of my to-do pile... but for $10, the GoG version came with 3 soundtracks (lossless), 3 comics (one of them multimedia) in different languages, a hefty art book, a few additional gigs of art. (Not sure if Steam version includes this stuff, bc it's not mentioned on their GOTY page... but GoG option is usually better anyway.)

It's a solo and/or co-op game.
You can create your own world to play single player. And you can also join or create a world where other players are present.
You can do so with the same character or, if you prefer, make separate characters for single- and co-op worlds.
Worlds are procedurally generated and consist of various biomes: Meadows (where my screenshot was taken, the starting area with weak monsters, Black Forest (second area with trolls, skeletons and stronger versions of meadow mobs), Mountains (haven't encountered mobs there yet, Swamps (skeletons, ghosts and draugr), Plains (with deadly mosquitoes) and one or two more that I haven't reached yet.

Currently early access with 4 of the eventual 9 summon able bosses available.
I've been having so much fun exploring and building that I've only just recently beaten the second boss and only because it is a prerequisite to gain access to iron.

For those like me, who can't be bothered by keeping mobs of your construction site, there's also console cheats to make you immortal and other stuff.

(Click image for GoG link. Windows only.)

2015 remaster of Homeworld 1 & 2. The other Homeworld stuff is 90% off as well, except Homeworld: Emergence (previously Homeworld: Cataclysm, which I never got around to), which hasn't had a remaster yet. Should play ok on potato PCs.

If you're lucky enough not to be saddled with Windows... the soundtracks are also 90% off, including lossless FLAC (+ mp3) files, which was the main draw for me this time:
No Cataclysm soundtrack yet.

A rare early buy for me... telling myself I'll play it someday.

The other one getting hyped lately (or... for a while now?) is Deep Rock Galactic. Any thoughts?

Spiderweb Software fans rejoice, Geneforge 1 remastered was released a few days ago. Now you're only 20 years behind the graphical and UI times instead of 30. Forgot how much I loved this game, it's got a great story and I enjoy the monster summoning mechanics. A true creative RPG in the classic sense. Funny enough, it also got me back into playing Avadon.

I thought the improved typography in Queen's Wish signaled a change, but unfortunately with Geneforge we're back to ugly-ass Times New Roman with cramped line and letter spacing. Oh well.

This is great. My first Yakuza game though I believe it's somewhat different with it's change to turn-based combat.

It wouldn't be a Yakuza game if there wasn't a Sega arcade for you to hang out in!

What I think I like most about it is you don't play an awkward teenager trying to find their way in the world but rather a lame middle-aged man looking for a second chance.

Relatable.

Yeah, I've never played a game that worked so hard to get you to drink.

I'm really enjoying Bravely Default 2. It has none of the flaws Octopath Traveler had. Character progression is interesting, and very much customizable. An interesting card game, not so black-and-white characters... I like it very much.

There's actually a contradiction in Like a Dragon in that in the cutscenes the main character doesn't drink, refuses offers of drinks, and says he doesn't drink. Yet to gain HP and some buffs you need to drink alcoholic drinks and be mindful of not getting too drunk that you lose control of your character in battle.
