Sorry, I should make it clear that I was just browsing the net for inspiration and I saw this on there. I've no idea what Science Club is, but it just looked cool so I posted it to give others inspiration.

For me, thats the one!

Some concepts I've drawn. The bottom right is my favourite - it's a hidden 'R' with atoms around it. Middle top is also nice and simplistic. The top left is an 'RSS Feed' styled logo - don't ask why... subscribing to rationality, perhaps?
