People, saying nice things about an Aussie is unnatural. This whole thread makes me feel sick.

Durro, you smell like the back end of a camel. Which in itself is evidence to back up the other rumours we've heard about you.

Oh, and curse you for not banning CDesignPropenentsist.

Thank you so much, Durro!
Я пью за разоренный дом,
За злую жизнь мою,
За одиночество вдвоем,
И за тебя я пью, -
За ложь меня предавших губ,
За мертвый холод глаз,
За то, что мир жесток и груб,
За то, что Бог не спас.

Awww, you guys...

I'd like to say, I've resigned purely because of personal/professional time constraints and a certain level of mental tiredness after a few years of doing this. The Mod Team still has my support and well wishes, and I've left on good terms, quite possibly to return at some stage in the future when my batteries are fully charged again. The assorted characters who make up the collection of present and previous Mods are a good bunch of people who have or still do devote considerable time and energy to running the forum fairly and consistently, often with little thanks and usually with plenty of criticism, much of it unjustified (IMO).

However, I'm not leaving the forum, and I'm looking forward to perhaps contributing a little more to various fora where I've been reluctant to post due to my Mod duties. I'm also keen to start a thread entitled "Should the Gay, Gun-owning, Liberal-Democratic Illuminati Be Allowed To Be Circumcised Before Marrying Atheist Goats In The Twin Towers' Mosque ?" That should make for interesting discussion. The current Mods can thank me later.

Thank you all for your kind words. Except you Virphen...thanks for keeping it real buddy.

Careful there mate. We don't need another gun control debate on this forum. Add gay and atheist and you are asking for a royal pain. ;)

But I take it you're OK with marrying circumcised goats ?

I can't imagine someone trying to circumcise a goat ending up very happy.

Is Durro the longest serving mod or Cali....?

There's only one way to find out....

Thanks for your monumental effort Durro, over many years. We shall have to erect a monument to you in modtopia, right beside the jacuzzi. Any thoughts on how you'd like to be remembered?
