New Theropod Dinosaur Found

#1  Postby Calilasseia » Jun 09, 2015 11:58 pm

Courtesy of Manchester University ... new species of Theropod dinosaur found - fossil discovered on a beach beside Penarth in Wales.

The scientific paper naming the new species is currently in press.

EDIT: It's also apparently the first Jurassic fossil found in Wales, and another milestone is that the fossil was found in the earliest Jurassic strata, right on the border with the Triassic, making this one of the earliest known Theropod dinosaurs to be found.

Wouldn't have cost much more than a fiver in those days.

Has it been assigned a name yet? I couldn't see one mentioned.

Paper is in press as I stated. We'll have to wait for publication thereof.

I just want to know how a whale swallowed a dinosaur. Was Jonah riding it?

Guys, maybe show a little respect? This is about a dinosaur who died.

Or don't. Just follow your arrow wherever it points.
