I think I'm going to join in this thread, I might try the 50 books next year...

So far in 2012 I haven't been reading that much. Books I finshed are:

Shobogenzo - Dogen

The Narrow Road to the Deep North - Basho

Too loud a solitude - Bohumil Hrabal

Shobogenzo - Dogen

The Narrow Road to the Deep North - Basho

Too loud a solitude - Bohumil Hrabal

Theban Plays - Sophocles

Theban Plays is one of those things I re-read every couple of years. It's immensely impressive.

Now reading Suetonius, The Twelve Caesars.

7. I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings - Maya Angelou
8. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets Nest - Stieg Larsson

I had to put The Song of Ice and Fire down until I get some extended free time to better focus on it. Up next: Paddy Whacked: The Untold Story of the Irish-American Gangster.

I suppose it does go to prove just how many hours I spend working in the sewing room instead of messing about, doesn't it?

1. A Clash of Kings - George R.R. Martin
2. A Storm of Swords - George R.R. Martin
3. A Feast for Crows - George R.R. Martin
4. A Universe from Nothing - Lawrence Krauss

I have multiple books that I am in the process of reading, so I'll probably update this in groups instead of one book at a time. I also hope to obtain a copy of A Dance with Dragons pretty soon!
