I'm very happy for these people that they've been able to find a constructive approach to their situation, but the closing statement of the article leaves me speechless.

We thank God every night for blessing us with such a special little boy.

Yeah, yeah, that's one way of coping with it. Bet they would've praised their god even more if the baby had been born healthy.

They probably would have praised god even if the baby was born without a head.

The baby has at least an excuse for acting without a brain.

Somehow I think that if a human doctor had deliberately made the baby anencephalic, they wouldn't be praising the doctor.

How is it that these unfortunate parents are remotely able to find anything pleasant to say about the cunt of a God they believe is responsible for their baby's condition? I find it truly staggering that God gets all the praise when he behaves in a way that would have a human being considered the most despicable and psychopathic cunt in existence.
As Arcanyn puts it above, if a human doctor had deliberately made the baby anencephalic, they wouldn't be praising the doctor, they'd be jailing him and comparing him to Dr. Mengele. He'd be reviled as a fucking monster but no, goddidit and that's OK.
It's a fucked up world we live in!!
The Bible is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it; and some clever fables; and some blood-drenched history; and some good morals; and a wealth of obscenity; and upwards of a thousand lies.
