I had a look on the permanently banned members on the Feedback, site suggestions and bug reporting forum. It says only that the sock is banned. Not the main account, which is not identified. I presume it was someone otherwise in good standing to not get completely banned for sockpuppetry. At least I don't recall any other such cases. Someone was bored I guess and was having a bit of "fun". It's often difficult to tell the Poe's from the real thing.

Even if a particular fossil that has been claimed to be an ancestor to modern day apes and/or humans turns out to be a modern day ape, you still have a lot of evidence to present that "Goddidit". All we would have found is one fossil, that scientists (ones with actual fucking degrees, unlike our dear Nephy) have misidentified as being an ancestor to humans.
Even if all that is true, we haven't even got close to proving creationism.
