Space Odyssey (TV series, 2004)

Sorting through some old DVD's recently, I came across this classic of it's type.
From Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Odyssey_(TV_series)

Space Odyssey: Voyage To The Planets (released as Voyage To The Planets And Beyond in the United States) is a mockumentary about a manned voyage through the solar system. Space Odyssey premiered in 2004 and was made by the BBC. It was written and directed by Joe Ahearne and produced by Christopher Riley, who was presented with the 2005 Sir Arthur Clarke Award for Best TV & Radio Presentation.

The story is set at an unspecified time in the future, though in the accompanying book, the mission's chief science officer recalls reading Arthur C. Clarke's 2010 (published 1982) some 40 years earlier

I was delghted to see it on youtube. These two episodes inspired Defying Gravity, a 2009 ABC and CTV show that only got to the end of its first season. The American version of Space Odyssey was shown as a single episode and was trimmed for length.
I dont know how well this was distributed globaly, but is well worth a look.
Put up your feet, get some popcorn, and join the crew of Pegasus on its grand tour.
I hope you enjoy.

Yeah, my astronomy club played an episode each week for a while. Pretty good.
We are alive, so the universe must be said to be alive. We are its consciousness as well as our own. We rise out of the cosmos and see its mesh of patterns, and it strikes us as beautiful. And that feeling is the most important thing in all the universe.
