It was suggested back in Sep last year that Kevin Durand might be cast as Negan...

That was just a rumor. I wouldn't mind him, but he's a bit too rabbit-faced, and he's too dry for Negan. I'm hoping for someone better... an unknown.
However, as far as known actors go, I prefer Patrick Warburton. He's nearly perfect. I just don't know if he can play intimidating.

I find the reveals in Sleepy Hollow's third season very weak.

I mean, they're looking at a camera recording, then Mills remembers the woman told her her name. And *gasp* Pandora! She's Pandora!

Really? That's the best they can come up with? Drag it out, at least. Weak writing. :nono:

Season 5 of Once Upon a Time is actually REALLY good. Last season I went along for the ride because I love Rumpelstiltskin and Hook, but was pretty unimpressed. This season I am actually excited at the end of each episode for the next episode.

Why are children getting better stuff than us? The latest episode managed to make oblique digs at lolcats, annoying YouTube ads, trolls, Rick Astley, Anita Sarkeesian, and even, I believe, cyriak!

Fucking Gumball. I hated the concept of the show....and then I watched an episode...and then another....and another....another....

Fuck, it is so stupid, and yet I laugh my ass off usually every single episode.

Yes, Warburton would be good in the role.
I think he can play nasty. He was a convincing bully in Joe Somebody...

Ugh...

Again, on Sleepy Hollow. Crowbar fucking plot-move.

I can understand how they might reconstruct the blade itself, from analyzing the wound, using a computer and stuff. The blade, only. But, the how the hell does the image already show the ornate grip, or whatever they call it? How the hell do they know it's shaped exactly like that? Such bullocks. :nono:

Still convinced the very best thing on British TV at the moment, and the 2nd best ever after Game of Thrones is on ITV Encore

'The Americans' its a tragedy Channel 4 never picked it up

Anyone know what steaming services are offering BBC's Last Kingdom season 1? It looks awesome but I don't want to start watching in the middle.

Edit: I'm an idiot. It's the first season and I missed the first two episodes. Anyone know how I can watch the first two?

Edit 2:
Found episode 1 is a freebee from BBC...

Just need a bootleg of episode 2 and I'm good.

Edit 3: Downloading torrent of E2. Crossing fingers.

Edit 4: Job done. I'm all caught up

So...The Walking Dead has been quite good this season. It's nice how quickly the characters went from a mostly interchangeable set of zombie fighters/victims to a set of genuinely individual characters with their own motives, ideas and relationships.

I liked the season of TWD when the main group was all broken up into smaller units and we got some smaller stories.

Well, I think I said it previously, that season seems to have been just what the show needed to make itself more abundant in future ones. It fixed the show. :)

The story arc with the Governor (viewed by many as "sexy", despite his wickedness) is still the high point for me, especially the mid-season 4 finale ("You and your people have until sundown to get out of here"). But it's definitely picked up again toward the end of season 5, and now the beginning of season 6 is looking good.

The Leftovers season 2. The third episode aired last night. I don't think there has ever been a show more devoted to existential angst than this one, considering that the plot is driven by the characters' reaction to the sudden disappearance of an (apparently) random 2% of the population in a "rapture-like" event.

TWD: I think Carol is my favourite character now. I love watching her slip from mousy house-wife to badass killer in a heartbeat. Which I suppose encapsulates her longer-term character evolution.

Also, she's arguably the group's most useful/powerful character imho. She'd be willing to do things that Darryl and Michonne wouldn't, yet has a better handle on her sanity than Rick.
