I'm enjoying Sense8. Still very rough around the edges, but the main conceit works really well and they don't seem shy about using it for full effect. That chase sequence where the cops a desperate Nomi and Sun, Will, and Capheus show up to help out is worth some of the tonal misfires.

I'm looking forward to AHS Apocalypse. Jessica Laing's back! :awesome:
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

It premiered last Wednesday. Joan Collins is a hoot. It did have gag straight out of Rocky Horror Picture Show. i won’t even bother to mention the double entendre in the previous sentence nor that it was the culmination of a “bury your gays” moment. Stu is stew will be featured in memes for the next year. Also nice ass on both actors in the scrub down scene

Season 2 of Iron Fist was more enjoyable than the first, but still not up to par with the other Marvel series.

Monkman & Seagull. Epic TV! No half dressed celebrities, Brexit or Trump - just two interesting guys on a tour of the land. Detectorists in real life!

American Vandal 2 is more intriguing and contains more twists and turns than Searching.

First episode threw me off and I thought I was dealing with a show like RWBY, but surprisingly I find the art style to be rather fitting for the show.

BBC - Keeping Faith (up to & including episode 6): A programme about 21st Century Wales where inappropriate footwear is the norm and double yellow lines mean “please park here at any time”. Everyone hides or makes up evidence to the odd gasp of astonishment but I’m sure nothing will turn out OK in the end…

Also, is Faith Howells played by Billie Piper’s sister? :ask:

I've just finished the season. Imo the potential of the show got ruined by choppy fps animation, incredibly generic and therefore predictable storytelling as well as inconsistent characterization of certain characters.

I am halfway through season 2. Blake is a better character than I remember, but Avon and Servalan are definitely the stars.
