FALLING SKIES

The killing of the queen was anti-climactic. They could've, at least, dragged her death throws out for a little longer. Made her stumble around some more,shouting obscenities in surprise, instead of turning to ash in a second.

Also, I find her story about the daughter she sent a bit ridiculous. They were already an advanced space-faring and conquering race and a few cavemen managed to throw a hominid-wrench into their war-machine? Come on!

Nice over-kill on the sub, at the end.

Saw the first episode of Public Morals, which is about corrupt NYC vice cops in late 60s. Looks like it could be good. Best line so far is when Detective Muldoon (Edward Burns) is talking to his son - "Son, the world is full of assholes". S'truth.

Final watched the first two episodes of Fear the Walking Dead. So far, pretty meh. I don't know if I'm going to stick with it. And I've never liked Kim Dickens' perpetual bitch face.

At the end, hubby of Lt. Eyebrows is telling the crew how they were doing some anti-piracy mission off the coast of Somalia and they came across some poor Hungarian freighter.

This is the same crap that was in the first Iron Man film, where some guy was talking to them in (broken) Hungarian in the cave they were in.

Where do these producers and writers think Hungary is? What the flying fuck would a Hungarian freighter be doing in Somalia?
