Some neat back stories on the Beast.
The course is biased for taller competitors tho weight is a factor as well
The girls are generally disadvantaged....

The mid-sized climbers with extreme agility and strength do the best...parkour and climbing seems superior backgrounds with a slight edge to climbers tho the last parkour elite was remarkable.

Any chunky muscle mass does not do well....insane hand strength is mandatory ...many of these athletes have a ton of trophies and wins in their specialty ....this obstacle course is pretty humiliating.

Chinese, French and Spaniards best as a class with a couple of US standouts.

Parkour rules....these top guys are marvelous athletes....jumping ability is astonishing. :what:

I don't usually watch Doctor Who, but I wanted to have ammo to use against the backlash of male tears.

Read the comments on the review of the Doctor Who Christmas Special and laugh. Or cry. But mainly laugh.

So outdated values as you put it that worked so well for so many years are suddenly removed and replaced by total chaos and this is ok by you?

Yep. Slavery, racism, homophobia, misogyny, that worked so well... for the people who weren't black, a little dark-skinned, gays or women.

Yeah, read them all. This one :

Being Thoughtful is not falling for all this PC bullshit though. You can't even see the networks are trying to change people's point of view to a softer stance in general.

Politically it eventually means no-one will stand up for their rights which is exactly what Governments want.

Standing up for minorities' rights will lead to no-one standing up for their rights. Makes sense.

Life would be so much better if women, ethnic minorities, gays, etc knew their places again like in The Good Old DaysTM.

Heartbreaking ....I've seen and read much of the coverage about the disaster on Everest but this is very well done.

Beck Weathers had incredible will to survive....Into Thin Air is terrific.....
