Gawd, the very idea that the Wicker Man remake would make it onto the list... shudder. The originals.

How could I forget Donnie Darko, every time I hear "Head Over Heels" I want to watch it and another favourite with a similar theme is Primer.

Now I'm racked with indecision about my list. What about Battle Royale? Or Rec (original, before anyone asks)? Or Skew? Or The Road? Waaah!

Wall-E needs to go. The rest I'll give you Pulsar

Wall-E is imo the weakest of the Pixar films, aside from Cars.

Oh, come on, Wall-E is great. It's only rivalled by The Incredibles and Nemo as Pixar's best.
It's a good thing we agree that Fellowship is the best LOTR movie. :smug:

It's a personal thing for me. I was so bored watching it, but I also hate characters like Wall-E in anything. I despise Spielberg's E.T. for that reason as well, the title character that everyone adores I find super annoying and not cute or funny. The two things I will give Wall-E: it has a beautiful score and was well drawn.

Picnic at hanging rock, I'd forgotten about that. I've only seen it once, great atmosphere it totally sucked me in, loved it. Did you ever look up what happened on the net? Very strange, the book had a final chapter that explained what happened, it completely ruined the story, glad it was left out.
