I'm optimistic. I think that Rami Malek will be good in the role... likely better than Sacha Baron Cohen would've been.
I see from the IMDb page that Mike Myers is included in the cast. I think it's his first major role in about eight years.

I think it'll be interesting to see how much of the history and background the movie covers. Will they mention that Brian May had a career in science BQ (before Queen). Will they show Queen's involvement in one of the best movies of all time...?

Criticism based on nought but the trailer? I think Bryan Fuller is spewing prematurely!

And if you think that's bad, have a look at the latest Robin Hood... straight off the CG workstations of television's Arrow and onto the big screen...

Ooh! Robin Hawkeye of Assassin's Hood Creed II: Kingsman of King Arthur's Arrow. Amazing! Such effects! So storytelling! This totally non-formulaic trailer makes me want to see this at the cinema!

Of course, there is the possibility that Snyder doesn’t really care what Rand would’ve thought and he just thinks The Fountainhead is cool story about a guy who makes awesome skyscrapers. That’s about the same level of depth he brought to his Watchmen adaptation, his 300 adaptation, and all of his other movies, so maybe his Fountainhead will be less about celebrating a gross ideology and more about how badass it is to see a guy design buildings in slow-motion.

DC is taking a leaf from the Marvel book (especially Thor: Ragnarok) and playing this one for laughs...
