I got a ways into Braveheart, but lost interest. Mel Gibson had just appeared for the first time. There's no Star Wars playing at the nearest theatre anymore.

The film is of tapes being watched by police investigators. There are 3 youngsters, two girls, one chap. They’re going off to his dad’s second residence or something and on the way, he stops to buy booze, but he’s underage so he ends up just snatching it from the counter. As they make their getaway, they collide with another car, and see a girl in it. The police recognise the girl as a missing person. The three proceed to the house, get pissed etc, then start using (I think) binoculars, and see someone camping a couple of miles away. They recognise the car as the one they collided with. They decided they’re going to go down there, so they all leave and then weird stuff starts happening, and they find thing like the girl’s hair ribbon and clothing. I won’t say any more, in case you actually find it and might want to watch it. It was on Amazon Prime, I think.

I have searched but I have not found. I will continue to search until I find. This is my quest. My thingo.

I watched Parasite the other day. Pretty good. Lovely cinematography. Cute, twisted story. Engaging and so metaphorical. I quite enjoyed the journey. The audience I was sat with seemed slightly older and more cultured than usual. Not sure if it was the venue or the film itself that attracted them — perhaps some combination of the two.

Very enjoyable.
