Probably  I remember having no idea how that would work.

The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

I liked it. Mostly. The comedy was good, the action was good, but it did seem ...unbalanced somehow, at times. I can't put my finger on it. Anyway, I'm off to see it again on Saturday so it can't be that bad ;)

I liked it too. But not as much as the first one. Maybe the surprise effect is gone. I liked the story, character development, but killing Quicksilver was a big mistake IMO. Probably because of this shit contract with Fox.
And I thought comedy was not as good as the first one. But maybe it's just me, beeing in a deep depression doesn't make me a good juge on that topic. Only the end of the fight between Hulk and Iron Man, as a reference to the first movie, made me chuckle.

WTF were those rock monsters eg?????

Something about fallen angels banished to Earth and trapped in rock as a punishment...
But it was all pretty absurd. They looked like a hybrid of Galaxy Quest's rock monster and LOTR's ents.

Look. The dude really wanted to make his own LotR. And boatloads of money. LotR has already been made, though, so what's a dude gonna do?

if history teaches us anything, it is that Steven King material is a mixed bag of fail when adapted to other media.

Let's try something new: Dragonriders of Pern needs to be made.

Hum... The Green Mile, The Stand, Under the Dome, Apt Pupil, there's been a few successes. But the problem is not the source material, it's the movie's ambition.

Under the Dome? :?
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Still formulating an opinion on Age of Ultron. There were definitely a lot of things I liked. It was entertaining, that's for sure; and I didn't expect Ultron himself to be so funny. It might have been just a tiny bit over-stuffed. Just a tad, though.
