Dunkirk was alright. Maybe a bit boring at times. Now, before anyone breaks out the torches and pitchforks, I won't dispute that it was very well crafted, both in visuals and in audio (which was actually great), but there's only so much of the same dude being on several different sinking ships, or a Messerschmitt diving in for a strafing run I can watch without getting a bit bored.
No, don't start. I don't know if that actually happened to someone or not. I also don't care. Did that movie, by the by, aim for a PG-13 rating? I'm just asking because I think a fair few of those bombings and strafing runs should, by rights, have resulted in limbs flying every which way.

Yes it happened ...read your history .....the tale of the Commander who kept getting ships sunk under him is astonishing...one in particular where his lifeboat is being pulled under the screws as the reversing destroy tries to get off the sandbar and an oar he is holding catapults him to the deck of the destroyer as the life boat is splintered .....so many crazy stories and the director chose three ..land, air and sea.

The movie is tight and spare ... marvelous bit of work.

Watching Bad Lieutenant. I'd watched it once before. It's much better the second time around, and it helps that I have a bad memory.
Y'all aren't going to believe me, but Nick Cage absolutely nailed it in this movie.

Started watching "Dunkirk" but stopped it after 45 mins, every movie even its telling story of a group of people needs a single/core character just like the King Leonidas in "300" I dont care for its high rating I dont like "Dunkirk"

Another movie I couldnt stand more than 45 mins "Totem"
