That's not an extinction event ....it's regional but still ..

xperts estimate that only about 30 to 80 Sumatran rhinos remain in the world, mostly on the Indonesian island of Sumatra and on the Indonesian side of Borneo.

Pissing down with rain today, got to work, got into my gear, sat down and opened my emails, "sorry, your father died" (from aunty who cannot speak, only type or sign).
5 more weeks and he would have seen his only grandchild. Bugger. Some days, the rain seems apt. :sigh:
